Routes

The Stride walk offers three different distance options and the perimeter walk route is shown on the map above.
Walkers will be provided with a route mobile app and a waterproof route guide (there will be no marshals on the walk but marshal checkpoints will be at Histon, Coton and Shelford. A helpdesk will be available throughout the day).
The Stride walk offers three different distance options;
27 miles: Starting and finishing at Histon Recreation Ground, the route proceeds in an anti-clockwise direction passing through Girton, Coton, Grantchester, Trumpington, Great Shelford, Addenbrookes, the Netherhall area, Cherry Hinton, Fen Ditton, and Milton.
13 miles: Starting at either Histon Recreation Ground or Shelford Rugby Club, the route follows the western part of the perimeter walk with a stop in Coton.
6 miles: Again starting at either Histon Recreation Ground or Shelford Rugby Club, the 6-mile trek takes you to Coton.
There will be a free minibus shuttle service to return walkers back to their original starting location and this will be available from 10.30am to 4.30pm.
